Stories are everywhere. I make sure they get told.
I've found stories in annual reports and old-growth forests, in sales pitches and swamps. I've heard them in the words of scientists and CEOs, in the voices of bankers and farmers and folks in the unemployment line.
Here's my career in a paragraph:

Health care system marketing writer and editor by day. Freelance writer for regional print and web publications by night. Previously: Copy editing and web aggregation writing. Business and feature reporter for The Charlotte Observer, The Grand Rapids (MI) Press, The Grand Rapids (MI) Business Journal. Accomplished both in corporate editing and writing that drives sales, influences stakeholders and informs employees – and in news and feature writing that is informative and fun to read.
